Here at Novi.Digital we’re always looking for ways to increase our reach and the reach of our clients.
As a digital marketing company, we’re used to the way that the interactive nature of the internet has shaped the way that people look for information on a company.
Put yourself in the position of a potential client, someone with a need for the product or service you offer. Perhaps they’ve just found out they need it, or perhaps they’re dissatisfied with a previous supplier. They might even be perfectly happy with their current supplier and just curious about their other options.
In times past, these potential customers might remember a brand from TV or radio advertising and pick up the phone book to get in touch, or they might go straight to the phone book or newspaper classifieds and see what catches their eye.
Today, it’s much more likely they’ll pick up their phone and open a web browser – or skip that entirely and ask Siri, Google, or Cortana for the information. If they don’t do that, they’ll still go to a search engine or a trusted site online on their computer.
And through these new information channels comes much more information. You don’t just go to the company itself anymore; you check reviews, see what your friends think, drop by third-party forums to see what they think…
The customer is no longer passive. In fact, their decisions now are made by actively engaging with the available data. If data doesn’t drive your decisions then, as a marketing agency, you’re going to be scrambling to catch up with the customer at all times.
Nobody can control all the data available to potential customers, but by being aware of the information channels available you can make sure they’ll easily find the positives – and that’s where customer reviews really shine.
Customers trust other customers. We’re confident in the services we offer, and we encourage our clients to review us on sites like reviews.co.uk and our Google+ page.
But these reviews aren’t just for your customers. One of the reasons that we pay attention to ours is to see where there’s room for improvement.
Data-driven response, data-driven service, in a data-driven age – one of the things we offer our clients is a wider awareness of their field, paying attention to review sites and their competition.
If you’d like to find out what else we keep an eye on for our clients, or just see how we can benefit you, you can get in touch here, email us at [email protected], or call our head office on 01524 566 736.
